Hello yakini,
Thanks for appreciating our work.
It is always better to start preparation for any exam as soon possible.
This preparation will also help you to score good marks at your graduation level.
At the first year of B E/ B Tech there is very less engineering portion so you can start your IES preparation with General Studies preparation in first year of your graduation.
IES general studies paper contain two sections : (1) General english & (1) General Studies. So you prepare them in 1st year.
From 2nd year of engineering technical subjects related to your branch of engineering would be introduced in your syllabus prepare them for your college as well as for IES.
So in this way you can get double advantage.
